Stables Village

Suzanne Sabo, a local developer, will be constructing 61 workforce housing units for purchase. It will provide a mix of 5 single family homes, 38 duplexes and 18 triplexes. These will be sold through lottery Summer of 2023 and be move in ready Winter of 2025. For more information, click here.

Alta Verde I (2022)

  • 80 rental units, supports 60% AMI

Alta Verde is current affordable rental housing in the Town of Breckenridge. Located between Coyne Valley Road and the Fairview Boulevard roundabout, project construction is complete and is close to full lease out. For more information, click here.

Alta Verde II

  • 174 units, lower AMI

The Alta Verde II complex is slated to include 174 units over four buildings - 50% of units will be at 80% AMI or less. Alta Verde 2 will encompass a mix of studios, one, two and three bedroom units. We anticipate these units to be ready for move in Winter 2024. For more information, click here.

Justice Center

The Town of Breckenridge is partnering with Summit County in developing the land just north of the Justice Center in Breckenridge. The Town continues to stay nimble and is always looking at innovative ways to produce housing in a cost effective way. Currently, the Town is working with Fading West Development based in Buena Vista, CO to manufacture and produce modular homes for this project. For more information, click here

Berlin Placer 

Construction is underway at the Trails at Berlin Placer. While this is not a project of the Town, in the beginning stages, the Town purchased two, four-bedroom units and plans use the buy down program to resell them as affordable workforce housing. Highlands Riverfront

The Highlands Riverfront will include 22 deed-restricted duplexes and 24 market rate homes. This is not a project of the Town, but through annexation strategies the Town is collaborating with the developer to ensure workforce housing is included.
